The local government of the Pomeranian Voivodeship carries out statutory tasks through the Marshal's Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship and several dozen voivodeship self-government organisational units. The main tasks of individual departments of the office include, among others, activities supporting regional and spatial development, supporting the functioning of educational, sports and cultural institutions, as well as implementing tourist programs or supervising institutions carrying out medical activities. Departments analyse and share information about the environment and its protection, organise issues related to transport, control finances in entities receiving funds from the budget of the voivodeship.
