This summit, came after a challenging almost 2 years, had some great speakers, very well thought out and relevant content and of course some great parties ermmm….packed Networking opportunities, and of course a great location!
10 years of Invest in Pomerania - a decade of facilitating sustainable growth
Invest in Pomerania turns 10 this year with 135 successful projects and creating more than 19000 jobs. The first research conducted by PwC and Instytut Badań nad Gospodarką Rynkową in 2010, titled Analysis of investment attractiveness of Pomorskie Voivodeship, became the basis for the strategy of FDI attraction and development of Invest in Pomerania. Now The Pomorskie Voivodeship has started a collaboration with the World Bank to assess how foreign direct investment (FDI) attracted by Invest in Pomerania supports local development and to formulate a new strategy for economic promotion and FDI attraction for the region for the years 2021-2027.
History in the making
This September, ABSL hosts the ABSL summit 2021 in Tricity. This will be the second time this Summit has been held in Tricity. The first time was in 2012, which incidentally was also the first time the conference was held outside of Warsaw.
ABSL Summit 2021 - safety announcement
Dear ABSL Summit Participants,
It is our firm belief that mass vaccinations are the only effective solution mitigating the negative consequences of the pandemic, offering us a real chance of a safe, face to face meeting after more than a year of lockdown. With this approach and observing the growing number of vaccinations across Poland, we will be able to host a slightly larger number of guests at the onsite formula of ABSL Summit, than originally announced. Please note that vaccinated persons are not included in the limit.
The ABSL Summit 2021 – Beyond Tomorrow. Building a sustainable future will be held on September 14-15, 2021.
The safety of participants of the Summit is and always will be a key priority for us and for our Partners. With that in mind, we have spent the last week analyzing the most up-to-date data and forecasts related to vaccination initiatives implemented by the Polish government. Given various aspects, we have taken the decision to organize ABSL Summit 2021 Beyond Tomorrow. Building a sustainable future on the alternative date of September 14-15, 2021 in Tricity.
The 11th edition of ABSL Summit to be organized “LIVE” in 2021
Observing the changing situation carefully, we have decided that the 11th edition of ABSL Summit, which did not take place last year due to the Covid 19-pandemic, will be held “LIVE”, this year in June.
Given the current stage of pandemic and its most likely course, the predictions are that in June we should be already past its 3rd wave, which means that most of the restrictions will have been lifted by this time.
Nonetheless, we are well aware of the fact that situation remains unsteady and depending on its course, we will adjust all our plans accordingly, organizing the event which guarantees the safety of our guests, in line with all defined safety precautions.
We will keep you informed. In the meantime, we invite you to get familiar with this year’s theme and our official teaser
