She joined BAT in 2002 as Brand Manager in Turkey. Since then, she has held a variety of Brand, Trade and Strategy roles in Turkey before moving to BAT’s London headquarters holding key roles like Regional Head of Trade EEMEA, Head of Brands EEMEA. Then she moved to Romania as Marketing Director for Central Europe South Area. In June 2018 Asli has been appointed as Area Marketing Director firstly for DACH Area which then expanded to become Central Europe North Area. Since July 1st 2021 she has been appointed as General Manager Poland & Baltic countries.
Asli has been instrumental in embarking on BAT Group’s transformation journey to deliver A Better Tomorrow vision. She has led the transformation journey in Central Europe North markets championing consumer insights and digital marketing capabilities and made a significant contribution to developing stronger portfolios in traditional categories and making significant step changes in new Categories. Under her leadership, Vuse achieved all-time highs in all key markets, Modern Oral achieved growth in all markets, and she has been successfully driving the Glo launches in Germany and Poland.
